One way or the other I'd recommend you look at:
http://wso2.com/about/news/wsf-php-beta-release/
and/or
http://pecl.php.net/sca_sdo
They can help you a lot. WSO2 has the capabilities to build servers
and clients. From the little details you gave, I'd say those two
packages are what you are looking for.
