Been using an ipod (6th gen) on amarok with ubuntu and gentoo without
a hitch. As long as permissions are right, I can transfer files
without a problem. Make sure you read tutorials on the web, that
should work. I would also advise to start amarok from a terminal and
check on messages when connecting the ipod.
