Sell it. I have an ipod nano 2nd generation. The proprietary lock-in on this
device prevents the loading of non-apple software. This means that the buggy
stuff they have shipped that cannot play .ogg files or video is what I am
stuck with. The fact that they had gone to a lot of trouble to spoil my fun
singlehandedly convinced me that I should never buy any of Apple's shiny
equipment - neither their ipod, iphone nor their funny little laptops and
desktops. I'd rather have something a different colour. I'm quietly waiting
for the day when an expiring certificate will brick the whole company.
