[ILUG] OT: Search my Amazon wish-List?

[ILUG] OT: Search my Amazon wish-List?

On Wed, May 27, 2009 at 07:17:43PM +0100 or so it is rumoured hereabouts,
Frank Murphy (Frankly3d) thought:

My xkcd search bookmark looks like:

http://www.google.ie/search?q=xkcd+%s+site%3Axkcd.com+-site%3Aforums.xkcd.com+-site%3Afora.xkcd.com+-site%3Ablag.xkcd.com&start=0&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official

with keyword: xkcd

Note the 'q=xkcd+%s+' bit in the URL. The %s gets replaced with my search
terms.

So, go do a wish-list search, bookmark the result, then in the bookmark
properties, replace 'search-term' with %s and add a keyword 'wish-list'.

Now you can enter 'wish-list search terms' in the URL BAR (in firefox) and
off you go.

I made a similar one with google maps such that I can type 'map <address>'
and get straight to the spot.
