New one I'd say.
The hypervisor on the PS3 is very restricted, you don't end up with an
overly useful linux distro on it.
Also, lot of the games have 2-8GB installs, so I'd say your son may be
looking for the 5-10G partition you've made off with for Linux ;)
Cheapest place would be up north, HMV, Game, Gamestop, Smyths (they up there?).
