No; that is sadly not the case; the Thecus box does not come with disks
installed.  I used to have a Thecus 5200Pro; I bought the disks separately.

I would recommend the TranquilPC BBS2 over the Thecus, for what it's worth.
 Only 5 disks rather than 7, but much less hassle to install Linux etc.
