md0 (/boot) is fine. it's md1 (raid1 on sda2 and sdb2) i tried to shrink.
it boots up fine and all the lvm filesystems are alive, but mdadm says "No
md superblock" for sda2 and sdb2 and "not active" for md1, and pvs, vgs, and
lvs are all mute.
