The "home" adsl services wouldn't persist a WAN session for more then
24 hours, any 24 hours (from when you rebooted the router generally and
thereafter). Buying their "business" product gave you a static IP, and
the problem went away, funny that! Don't know if it's the same since
Vodafone at Home absorption.
