This is an interesting story. It seems as though a former programmer at
Goldman Sachs
stole some of it's "copyrighted and proprietary" source code in order to
start a rival firm.
The twist comes when the defendant reveals that the code in question is
licensed
under an Open Source license (which one the story doesn't say). It also
reveals
that most of Goldman's software is taken from OSS projects...
