[ILUG] Skynet & Ubuntu-ie Talks - February 27th 2010

[ILUG] Skynet & Ubuntu-ie Talks - February 27th 2010

Eoin Mooney moonpie at skynet.ie
Mon Feb 8 23:14:55 GMT 2010

Hi all,

First off I'll introduce myself.

My name is Eoin Mooney, I'm the current Vice-President of the Computer
Society in the University of Limerick (http://www.skynet.ie)

I'm also a long-time lurker on the lists and #linux.

Anyway, we are hosting a day of talks in association with Ubuntu-ie on
the 27th of February in UL
(https://wiki.ubuntu.com/IrishTeam/Events/February-2010-Talks) rounding
the day off with Matt Zimmerman from Canonical.

Details are a bit rough as yet, but we are looking for speakers to keep
us entertained during the day. Talks can be on any topic, ideally
relating somehow to the Open Source world.

If you think you might be interested you can:
contact me directly (moonpie at skynet.ie),
contact the society (events at skynet.ie),
post to the list,
or pm me on irc.linux.ie (nick = moonpie)

Kind Regards,
Eoin Mooney
Vice-President, UL Computer Society
