I have one user on my network whose computer routinely freezes (about
once a day) - usually when using the mouse to scroll on a document. All
the other users have exactly the same software (Ubuntu Karmic clients
all connected to a Debian server which shares the home files via NFS.
The computer will run for hours - and then just freeze, its doesn't
recover either - when it goes its 100% non responsive. All the other
users/computers are fine.
I have replaced the cooling fans, replaced the memory (which failed
memtest) and replaced the mouse. Any ideas? I am wondering if there is
something wonky in her configuration.
Kevin.
