Amazon EC2! [1] :) (Full disclosure: I work for Amazon)
It would save you a tonne of money over running your own hardware, and
it would be bookable at any time; you simply supply the Amazon Machine
Image (AMI) and boot.
I'd be happy to help you get this set up if you'd like, probably by
referring you to the excellent AWS forums. [3]
