[ILUG] Linux and Macs

Kevin Philp lists at cybercolloids.net

I have to buy come laptops for our office. The office is a Debian server
with Ubuntu desktops. The laptops must run MSOffice - specific customer
requirements - our usual OpenOffice and convert isn't fool proof enough.
So we have two choices:

1. Get Windows laptops and integrate with Samba into the network.

2. Get Macs - but I have no idea how easy they would be to fit into our
network. The only tricky bits I can see are - /home over nfs4 and we
authenticate via nis.

Any ideas?
