What about Crossover Office from Codeweavers? I bought a copy of that a 
while ago, because I needed to run a Windows program and couldn't get my 
head around Wine. Some programs won't work under it, but Office should, 
and when it works, it's good.

You can download it to see if it's usable, and then decide whether to 
buy it.
