[ILUG] Geeknic and Ubuntu Release Party - Sunday 2 May

The next Geeknic is going to be on the May Bank holiday weekend, Sunday 2nd May starting at 1pm. For those unfamiliar with the term, a Geeknic is a picnic of geeks: http://geeknic.org/

The next release of Ubuntu (Lucid Lynx), is due on April 29th. This is a Long Term Support version, and certainly justifies a release party or picnic!

Farmleigh Park in Phoenix Park, are again holding a Food Market on that day:
        http://www.farmleigh.ie/Events/Title,12875,en.html
the last event here seemed to go very well. All of the family are welcome, and there's plenty of food on sale!

Dublin Bus route 37 travels near the park:
        http://www.farmleigh.ie/VisitorInformation/GettingtoFarmleigh/
        http://www.dublinbus.ie/en/Your-Journey1/Timetables/All-Timetables/37/

We should follow-up the geeknic in suitable pub in town.

Tom.
