[ILUG] Android phone availability in Ireland?

Hello all,

I've been looking to upgrade to an Android-based phone for a while now, but
I can't really seem to  find one.
I've been using Vodafone for a few years but when I went into a couple of
their shops, the shop assistants
said that they had *no* Android phones available at all (It wasn't just a
single isolated incident, in other words).

They also said that they had no plans to stock either the Motorola Droid or
the Nexus One.

Any suggestions, outside of "buy it in the U.S."?
