I re-booted my Eircom ADSL modem (Netopia) yesterday,
after adding a pin-hole,
and it took several hours to come back on line.
I'm wondering if that is normal;
has anyone else had this experience?
I was wondering if the problem is at my end or at Eircom's end.
Eircom supplied the modem about 4 years ago, I think.
Is there any point in getting a new one?
It works fine apart from this one problem.
