Don't know exactly where the protocol/codec decoding is done for these
services in the USB capture devices (for example do they require custom
device drivers or do they provided a decoded V4L style input?), but
isn't the RTE service some weird non-standard MPEG4 over DVB-T variant?
I would have imagine the regular freeview dongles would be more accustomed
to MPEG2 over DVB-T...
