Timothy,
I saw a problem on one of those a few weeks back. The router was failing
intermittently and just stopped handing out DHCP information. Eircom
sent a replacement in the post, there was no talk of sending an engineer.
I had my home connection drop regularly about a week ago, problem lasted
about three days but I wasn't using it much and was busy elsewhere; I
just had regular complaints from my teenage son. By the time I got home
it was working again so I assume it was a temporary line problem.
Kevin.
