I am experimenting with using open ladp for authentication.
I am using Debian 5.
Everything is working fine, users with entries in LDAP can login fine
but when the user lists his files he sees the GID as numbers not the
group name. The GID is correct as per the LDAP. There is no problem with
the UID. The test user has no entry in the /etc/passwd /etc/group files.
Any ideas ?
