I would deny the right to take back the freedom to stand your ground in
court before you face penalty (any penalty) whether it would be
disconnection from the internet or fine for speeding (you may take it to
court if you wish too). What the Music companies are suggesting would be
done on their discretion not by a court warrant and that is what I am
against as such power can be greatly misused (f.e to block people who
damage the company profits or image even in the lawful way) It is
generally giving the control over freedom of speech to the
corporation(s) which is terrible idea.
