Except that that's not really going to help.
Now if you'd said

       Take the job of Dictator for Life

maybe; but just running for office means giving up my life as it is
today for a chance at a vote on a policy decision which in the Irish
system of government is a foregone conclusion anyway.

Do DRI make large financial contributions to Ministers? That seems to
be the only way to effect policy change in this country these days...
