I'm not sure what the complaint is here. No one on this list, or anywhere
else that I've seen, for that matter, is
suggesting that the author not have his book launch, nor should he be
censored in any way, no matter how silly his
or her opinions may be. What I think that most of the people here object to
is a public servant, paid by the taxpayers,
and responsible for the promotion of science and technology in Ireland,
should be seen at such a blatantly anti-science event.
He's free to go, of course, but we're also free to object, and to make our
opinions heard on this matter.
