Can you draw to scale with that? or is it just a picture floorplan
layout stuff you did? For picture based ruler guided layouts I'd have
gone for xfig rather than OpenOffice.org Draw, but not for something
which needs to be printed to accurate scale on various paper size
layouts.

What he's hoping to achieve is to have pre-prepared acetates with "to
scale" drawings on it that he can overlay a to-scale floorplan with.
