It seems to me that even if the original story was
a hoax, the fact that the media picked up on it so
strongly reflects how widely recognized the
internet has become for being well informed.
Guttenberg's printing press was revolutionary, as
were radio and then TV.
Maybe the internet is more important than all
three.
