I spoke too soon. The system I need to run it on has an older version
of sed (4.1.5) than on my desktop (4.2.1). Looks like -E isn't
recognised there:
sed: invalid option -- E
Can't seem to find that option documented in the online manual or the
man page either. What does it do?
