Well, you'll have to: http://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Windows7

In $previous_place, used Samba 3.3 and that still leaves a bitter
taste since windows 7 decided to mount home shares randomly (I admit
we had a special setup...)

So in short, upgrade your Samba server.
