Hi all,
i'm trying to upgrade my 11.04 system to the 2.6.39-0 kernel. The
procedure, according to the Ubuntu
forums, says to do the following:
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:kernel-ppa/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-cache showpkg linux-headers
The last command is supposed to show that the 2.6.39-0 kernel headers are
available
but I only see the 2.6.38 ones..i.e.
the output is:
Reverse Provides:
linux-headers-2.6.38-8-virtual 2.6.38-8.42
linux-headers-2.6.38-8-generic-pae 2.6.38-8.42
linux-headers-2.6.38-8-generic 2.6.38-8.42
linux-headers-2.6.38-8 2.6.38-8.42
Googling didn't give me any new answers. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Braun
