In what way? My understanding is that the KAME/racoon stuff is the
corporate sponsored reference implementation which completed its work
years ago and has since been adopted into a vast array of operating
systems.
Works very well for me for site to site, but I've never tried the road
warrior client setup with it, openvpn has always been much easier for
that. Its on my todo list to look at the ipad integration with racoon
since we're not in a habit of jailbreaking.
