The Company
Digital Crew Limited is an innovative, creative web and application development house based in Cork. The team is made up of graphic designers, software developers who are all passionate about what they do! The company has developed products specifically for the Higher Education market internationally and is expanding its market into Europe from a very successful Irish base. The Akari software suite is being regarded as probably one of the most innovative products in the Curriculum Management area.
The Role
Due to continued success the company is looking to hire a Web Developer to work with the existing team on ongoing projects with the Akari division. As well as developing new products the candidate will be expected to amend and adapt existing code as well as providing frontline support to current clients.

Technical Skills-set
Essential Criteria:
• At least three to four years experience of Web Development.
• Javascript expertise, including APIs experience (Prototype, jQuery, etc.)
• AJAX experience
• CSS, XML, HTML
• Experience of project delivery in a deadline-driven environment.
Desirable Criteria: Experience with Cold Fusion would be advantageous.
The company clients use both Oracle and MYSQL databases and experience in either one, or preferably both, will be essential.
