[ILUG] OpenERP demo server

[ILUG] OpenERP demo server

Just a small update...

Seems our previous requirements for automated linkages between OpenERP
and ROS/CRO systems may not be as important as I had assumed.

I've received feedback from experienced accountants/auditors that:

   1. Only a few values are produced by the book-keeping system
(OpenERP), that are relevant when running automated ROS submissions.
Therefore, just manually keying these few values is a trivial operation,
and might be even simpler than running any "automated" transfer.

   2. For CRO submissions, numerous pages of text apply (as well as some
values from OpenERP), and it may be more appropriate to put energy into
building the documents in, for example, Open/Libre-Office, and running a
mail-merge from OpenERP (and not use other packages) - rather than
building a transfer into another package.

...the story so far...

Mike.
