[ILUG] Drupal Help wanted

[ILUG] Drupal Help wanted

I have responsibility for minding a web site for a non-profit
organisation that my wife is involved in.

I set it up in Drupal 7 and have it hosted at blacknight

There are still things that are broken and it needs migrating from
drupal 7 to 7.8
I also need help with setting up consistently working WYISWY editor, a
properly functioning photo-gallery and events calendar

I don't have time, the web 'chops' (or the patience! I am command line
guy) to finish the job properly.

basically I'd suspect that the job would entail

1/ backing up existing content, database and theme.
2/ fresh install of drupal 7.8 the modified theme, required modules,
content and the site database. As a fresh 'site' this gets rid of the
cruft, un-needed modules etc I have added whilst getting to where it's
at now.
3/ Adding reasonable photo gallery support
4/ Adding a pretty events calendar
5/ perhaps some layout and structure changes
6/ Explain what was done so I have a better idea of how to deal with
Drupal in the future.

The theme is probably 'ok' and we do have content

The end Goal is to end up with a simple fully functional site that the
members of the organisation can use to administer new content and
external links in a consistent and reliable manner.

There are funds (limited) to pay for this or I can barter my own time as
a linux sysadmin to assist with server configuration, asterisk VoIp
setup etc

if anyone is interested please contact me off list.

regards
Brendan
