Hi,
I am trying to create a chroot of Ubuntu Dapper, as I need to run
a proprietary application that was compiled around the time of dapper. It
will not run under my current distro.
I am getting the following error:
mconnors at home:~$ sudo debootstrap --variant=buildd --arch i386 dapper
/var/dapper http://old-releases.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/
I: Retrieving Release
E: Invalid Release file, no entry for main/binary-i386/Packages
I have checked in the release file, and there is an entry
for main/binary-i386/Packages
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,
Michael
