I can't get open office or libre office to open files direct from
shares mounted that way, but if i mount the same share as root from
fsab it will.
Varies from application to application.
If you mount the shares interactivel like that, you have to copy your
office documents to the local profile to open them, or navigae through
some .something path to get to the data.
