[ILUG] Samba failure

[ILUG] Samba failure

 I'm completely stumped.

I have moved samba services from a RHEL3 machine to a CentOS6 machine.
I'm using the exact same samba version on both (3.4.17, i.e. not whatever
came with either system), with the exact same configuration, and it's no
longer working. The new server has the same hostname and IP as the old one,
and I have transfered the machine accounts (/etc/passwd and shadow).

I can login to the domain fine

[2012/12/17 10:31:14, 1] smbd/service.c:1063(make_connection_snum)
host-46d10a3 (157.95.24.86) connect to service USER initially as user USER (uid=12345, gid=1001) (pid 13172)

and the Linux homedir mounts fine as network drive, but get dozens and dozens
 of those:

[2012/12/17 10:31:23, 1] smbd/service.c:676(make_connection_snum)
  create_connection_server_info failed: NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED

Everything is very slow, and e.g. profile updates are not saved. Other
users get "disk full" errors from Windows. I've also seen

_netr_ServerAuthenticate3: netlogon_creds_server_check failed. Rejecting auth request from client host-E66A76E machine account host-E66A76E$

 Any ideas here?
