I have the commercial Windows program DesignCAD LT 2000 installed,
running under Wine, which seems to work fine. Haven't used it in a long
time, but I remember it being quite simple but powerful (to my amateur
eyes), and it does 2D and 3D drawings. It also claims to import and
export DXF files.
