[ILUG] Making sense of performance numbers

Hello all,

I am looking for a good resource to try and make sense of numbers generated
by tools like iostat,  sar, vmstat and and so forth. Tbere are plenty of
web sites that explain what the numbers measure, but nothing that I can
really find that puts this data into some sort of context. Can someone
recommend a good book or web site that can give some guidance on this?
