[Midlands] Newbie night -Next Friday

Hi All
Seems it will be more than worthwhile to go ahead with another meeting next
Friday judging by the response and numbers this time. As it's a newbie
night, if anyone is in a position to either adlib or prepare some 'tutorials'
(for want of a better word) on the likes of
	Distros,
	Installation, partitioning and device names
	Linux history
	Printing with CUPS
	Root, daemons, users and permissions
	Applications and Libraries
If anyone feels like undertaking a topic, we can split the groups for 20 mins
at a time or something, hopefully everyone will get 2-3 tutorials during the
evening.
A Q&A for those having problems would also be a good idea, so if there's any
teething problems that need sorting, assemble as many details as possible
beforehand for the best chance of help.
Please reply to the list with any further thoughts.
Mel
