[MLUG] should I download kernel from RHN that does not have a valid GPG signature?

[MLUG] should I download kernel from RHN that does not have a valid GPG signature?

On RedHat Network I was retrieving kernel-2.4.20-27.9.athlon.rpm

When I was nearly finished (10MB out of 13MB) I got this message:

The package kernel 2.4.20-27.9 does not have a valid GPG signature. It
has been tampered with or corrupted. Continue?

I decided to discontinue to be on the safe side. Anyone else have such
an experience? Should I just try downloading again in case it was a
corruption that occured during that process? Or is it possible that the
kernel file on the RH website was itself corrupted? Or should I ignore
this kind of warning if I'm downloading directly from RHN? (E.g., might
the "corruption" be a benevolent developement of some kind?)

Thanks,
Catherine
