You are right, of course - It was a stupid thing to post, I was young and stupid
then
(and only used windoze) but damned if i didn't learn a thing or two from it...

If I could go back and _not_ do it, I wouldn't - What I learned (concerning how
close
people are to their OS's) from that mistake was too valuable, something that most
people
don't get that close to....

It's like what you said about insulting someone's religion - very true, but the
sad thing
is that computer users can be easily as fanatic about the OS as some people up
North
(for example) - it's just a different religion, and a different walk of life.

I suppose what I'm trying to say is that the above kind of fanaticism is wrong <my
opinion>
just as insulting fanaticists is wrong (as well as a bad idea ;o))
