Hi,
I remember you said you had a crystal sound card, so I way wondering if you had
any experience/information for using MIDI with it? I just got my daughter a MIDI
keyboard and was hoping to connect it to her PC for some MIDI stuff. I know the
card has the 15-pin MIDI/Joystick port on it. How do I tell the PC to use this
as a MIDI port instead of Joystick? I've got RoseGarden installed and have
started playing with it for notating music. I'm hoping to start using the
keyboard for quicker and easier input. I was also hoping to find some software
for music tutorials. I remember seeing a Linux MIDI sight somewhere, but someone
keep clearing out the bookmarks on these PC's. If you know of any good starting
places, let me know. I'll have a look around myself in the meantime.
Cheers,
John Gay
