An even better idea would be putting NOTA (None Of The Above) as an
option on the ballot papers. AFAIK they have this in a few countries.
Might shake the politicrats up a bit if a lot of the people who normally
stay away from the polls turned up and started voting NOTA. The main
reason for the low voter turnout in the last while (wasn't there a 19%
turnout for some recent referendum?) is that people figure there's no
real choice, they're all the same so why vote for any of them (sort of a
"voting for the lesser of two evils is still voting for evil" attitude),
and so they show their dissatisfaction by staying away.
