[ILUG-Social] stop buying Palms now!

[ILUG-Social] stop buying Palms now!

Wonder how they'll stack up against the Symbian consortiums next generation
mobile phone's. In Europe, company's such as Nokia, Motorola etc, have a
higher market+mind share than Palm.

It's easier for them to add & sell trojan functionality to an established
product, (The Phone with integrated Web browsing and PDA software), than for
Palm to get people to buy another digital device (The PDA).
Ultimately it's the mobile comms market that will prove to have a faster
time to market and product churn rate, the PDA was a great concept..five to
seven years ago, however in three to four years I wonder will they even
exist?

Mark.
