I wouldn't necessaarily agree. I know of amiga & mac emulators for the pc
completely written in asm. You can do oo in asm (if you're really sick).
There is a complete CAD program written in asm. Now i accept that basic is
unmaintainable alright! (mainly becase basic is used by ppl who don't
actually know how to program -)
