No, chainsawproof trousers are not chainsaw resistant, as chainmail would
be. They have a nylon outer and an inner layer of padding with AFAIR kevlar
cords - the chainsaw chews into the trousers and get hopelessly clogged up
and stops.
Now that we've got that out of the way WTF are you doing with a thousand
gross of spring steel washers ? I mean I'mm all for the barter economy, but
there are limits :-)
