I was just told by an eircell customer support lady that their system says
officially that a fax received by eircell cannot be then sent on to any number
that's outside the Republic of Ireland. (e.g., your lawyer in Paris,
accountant in New York City, or wife in London)
They offered no explanation for this at all. I asked if it just meant I
needed to do something else to signify that it was okay for a long-distance
call to be made, but she said that it was just not allowed. Period.
Hmm.
Has anyone ever heard any reasons for such a limit under these or any other
circumstances?
