there's a very good point:
do not install bare cable. install conduits and run the cable through
the conduits. then you can easily pull replacement/extra cables
through when/if needed.
you could probably get the plumber to install seperate small diameter
PVC tubes (same ones he uses for the plumbing) as conduits.
