I've gone for interviews in the past with companies that didn't hire
me and I've sent cvs to companies that didn't call me for an
interview. I don't automatically assume that it's due to some big
conspiracy or that I'm the victim of discrimination. Ask around,
everyone else is in the same boat. Jobs are hard to get at the
moment.
I have huge numbers of cvs being sent to me by agencies and
individuals. I obviously can't hire them all, so if one of the ones I
happen not to hire is from another country or of a different religion,
or gender or whatever, does that automatically mean that I
discriminated against that person by not hiring them? In your world
it seems to. Bizarre.
me.
