[ILUG-Social] Study trip

Reinout van Schouwen reinout at cs.vu.nl
Wed Dec 19 14:05:00 GMT 2001

Hello ILUG people,

Let me introduce myself: I am Reinout van Schouwen, artificial
intelligence student at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam, The
Netherlands. Currently I am member of a committee that is organizing a
study trip to Ireland next March for students at the department of
Mathematics & Computer Science. During this trip we are going to visit
various universities and companies in Dublin (TCD and UCD, Sun), Limerick
and Galway. We want to learn about research and developments in the CS &
math fields in Ireland. So far, we haven't had much luck contacting
companies that would want to present themselves to our group. That is why
I'm sending this request to the ILUG mailinglist- I'm sure there are
people on this list who are working at an Irish company that would like to
host our group for (half) a day!

Please contact me by email if you want more information or... if you'd
like to invite us!

P.S. I visited Therapy?'s latest concert in Amsterdam! Can't wait to see
some more Irish bands. ;)

with kind regards,

--
