Something Which I've found quite effective in the past is to use a
silicone gun (the type of stuff that you'd use to seal a window frame with
and other many useful things) to draw a mesh on the inside of the case and
on any of the (non moving) noisy parts like the inside of the psu chassis
or along the utside of a noisy hdd etc.
for fans & stuff a regular clensing of dust & an occasional (minute)
application of chain saw oil tends to work wonders too.
